Bicycle Thief is Aaron
Fisher's insane take on CARDS to pocket. Aaron has brilliantly engineered the
handling so that there's hardly no/zero/nada knuckle busting skullduggery. All
your audience sees are 5 cards inexplicably from your fingertips and reappear in
your pocket!
You begin by displaying 5
cards - an Ace, Two, Three, Four and Five of Hearts. You explain how magicians
hide cards, using 'palming', to secretly deceive and entertain their
audiences.
The Ace of Hearts goes
first. You mock palming it - but your hand is clearly empty. One second it's in your left hand, the
next and you're triumphantly pulling it out from your pocket!
The Two is even better. This
time it vanishes and reappears under
your card case on the table!
Fearing they may catch on,
the three vanishes EVEN FASTER and then appears in your pocket!
Finally, you're left with
just the 4 and the 5. Ask your spectator which one they want to see jump. Say
they say the 5. Instantly, the two cards
change to just one, and your empty hand goes to your pocket and cleanly
removes the five. Evidently, you're some type of thief all right - a Bicycle
thief!!
